Full Circle developed and managed the Communications efforts of the Baton Rouge Sanitary Sewer Overflow Program, May 2010 – Current.
Full Circle Communications (FCC) has successfully created and implemented a communications program to compliment the Baton Rouge/East Baton Rouge Parish’s Consent Decree required work, the Baton Rouge SSO Program.
The communications program was designed specifically with the vision of the Program Management Team, Mayor “Kip” Holden, and the Dept. of Public Works in mind, ensuring that the considerations of each entity were incorporated into the plan.
Our communications program has heavy emphasis on proactive communication, making sure stakeholders impacted by the sewer evaluation and rehabilitation work are contacted in a timely and effective manner, with ongoing updates. We achieve this with frequent mailings, door hangers, educational materials, and community presentations and partnerships. We also work hand in hand with council members to ensure the constituents they serve are provided with “citizen friendly” information on the work impacting their communities. FCC also created a resource for citizens, businesses, and other organizations to get problems resolved quickly by establishing a program communications hotline, and providing citizens with Public Information Officers who will come out to their properties if requested, document issues, and do all of the leg-work required to get issues resolved in a timely manner.
We have also shown our commitment to the Baton Rouge workforce by keeping our promise to hire and train staff locally. We work to enrich our community by participating in many local service projects and are constantly looking for opportunities to utilize local small businesses for services.
